Red Clover Herbal Apothecary Farm

Believing in the intelligence of plants
and their gifts for our health and well-being.

In May of 2026 Red Clover Herbal Apothecary Farm changed hands to new ownership.
After fifteen years of having the honor of working with the Plant Kingdom to co-create ‘Herbal Medicine for the People’, founder, Nancy Graden, has turned the business over to the next generation.
Kassandra McKinnon is the now the new owner. No doubt there will be changes as new energy is infused into Red Clover Herbal, but the goal to work responsibly and respectfully with the earth and provide high quality herbal products remain. You can read more about the founder and new owner here. https://redcloverapothecary.com/about-nancy/

OUR MISSION STATEMENT  and VALUES BEHIND RED CLOVER HERBAL APOTHECARY FARM. We have a deep reverence for the intelligence of plants and the part their gifts play in our health and well being. We are committed to being ethical and respectful stewards of the land. We employ strictly organic farming practices, growing high quality herbs and producing high quality botanicals for our community. We hold dear these medicinal herbs, saving seed for future plantings and protecting them for future generations.
Though we both inhabit this beautiful planet, plants can exist without us but we cannot exist without them. They provide our very oxygen and food/medicine that sustains all living creatures. True wisdom lies in this understanding and actively and loving caring for the planet. This is foremost in our thinking as we tend to this piece of land on Red Clover Herbal Apothecary Farm. We strive to work with nature, not against it, understanding healthy soil creates healthy plants and in turn greatly contributes to the health of people. We put to practice sustainable farming methods – building soil with green manure cover crops, planting diversity, crop rotation with annuals, limiting tillage, building beneficial mycorrhizal fungi, making our own nutrient dense Nettle/Compost Tea and more. We work to give back/build back more than we take from the soil knowing it is the very foundation upon which we live. We’ve been certified organic since the beginning of our 12 year business as a medicinal herb farm. In 2026 the business transitioned ownership from Nancy Graden to Kass McKinnon and is currently in the process of getting certified organic under the new owner.

We are your LOCAL HERB FARMERS, so you get to know where your herbs come from and the farmers that grow and wildcraft them. Plus, our herbal products are FRESH and MADE IN SMALL BATCHES.

Many of our herbal botanicals are also available on our online store.
